How Does Hypnotherapy Work?

Trying to change your health, performance, habits, behaviors, thoughts, and feelings is hard work.  A lot of times small or incremental improvements can be achieved, but just don’t produce lasting results.  This is because our conscious mind – made up of our will, reason, decision, and logic –cannot compete with the power of the subconscious mind.

The mind is made up of 12% conscious and 88% subconscious.  The subconscious mind is the primary source of our beliefs, emotions, and behaviors, which are the “life scripts” of the mind.  Day after day the subconscious mind receives messages and passes them through these life scripts, causing you to move forward applying the same thoughts and behavior patterns, thus producing the same outcomes.

Hypnosis is a powerful tool for accessing the subconscious mind and creating dramatic change.  Through a positive client and hypnotherapist partnership, we can eliminate unwanted and unhealthy “scripts” and apply positive alternatives.  Hypnotherapy can “redesign” thoughts, feelings, behaviors and attitudes to produce desired outcomes that allow you to live a life of well-being.
